Convergence Festival is an annual sustainable living festival held in Ireland. Running since 2000 and Organized by the Sustainable Ireland Co-Operative, the Convergence Festival features combination of cultural and educational events celebrating all aspects of sustainability .
The first Convergence Festival Took Place in Dublin ’s Temple Bar in the year 2000. Held every year since (twice In Some years) Convergence featured HAS Many major conferences, forums and debates are green building , sustainable economies and resilient communities. The schedule has also included many movies, concerts, fashion shows and exhibitions, as well as food and craft fairs.
According To the organizers „for more than a decade this unique program of events HAS Celebrated community resilience and social inclusion whilst Championing the exchange needed to create a sustainable economy, society and built environment. 
Convergence 16, June 2011
The 16th running of the festival, Convergence 16, takes up from 16 to 26 June 2011. The festival HAS grown to Become a nationwide program with activities events Taking place in Dublin , Cork , Sligo , Tipperary and Kilkenny . The focus will be on Ireland’s huge potential for developing green jobs and resilient communities. According to the organizers, „these two exciting areas of opportunity are absolutely key to any plans to reinvigorate this country.“
