The Global Landscapes Forum ( GLF ) is a science-led multi-stakeholder forum dedicated to promoting the landscape approach . [1]

Overview

The Global Landscape Forum is the largest science-led platform on sustainable land use. It has connected 3,000 organizations and 25,000 people through events in Warsaw (2013), Lima (2014), Paris (2015) and Marrakesh (2016). [2]

History

The inaugural GLF event took place alongside the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 19) in Warsaw, Poland. [3]

Partners

The current coordinating partners of the GLF are the World Bank , the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), and the United Nations Environment Program . Its funding partners are the German Federal Ministries of Environment and Economic Cooperation and Development [4] .
